Our aim is to give you all the information you need to have a sucessful mountain bike adventure on our beautiful island.

Contrary to what you may have read or heard, offroad mountain biking in Tenerife is not illegal. It is true to say that there are areas which are out of bounds to mountain bikes and we will do our best to make sure that you know where these areas are. But, rest assured, that there are still a vast number of Tenerife mountain trails which are open and ready to welcome mountain bikers of all abilities. The trails vary from semi surfaced potholed minor roads, through forest gravel roads, stunning technical or flowing singletrack and heavy duty downhill routes. Truely something to keep every biker happy.

TENERIFE is a 365 day destination for mountain biking. There are very few rainy days and sunshine is almost guaranteed. Giving you dry and dusty trails to enjoy from your doorstep every morning. The peak summer months can be very hot though, with temperatures regularly in the mid to high 30 degrees celcius, very little cloud and generally light winds, it can make for hot days in the saddle and plenty of high factor sunscreen is a must.

Access to the trails is made easy with an excellent bus service, not of the busses have large underfloor storage areas where you can stow your bike for the journey. On some of the more minor routes, this will probably need you to remove your wheels, but others will take the bike in it's complete built form.

There are also a number of organised tour and guiding companies which you may want to look at to ensure that your ride goes smoothly without the need to be checking maps at every junction.
